Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E.) in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Energy Engineering) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Qualified in GATE (Petroleum Engineering) or NET/SET (Science & Technology) – minimum qualifying score as per the conducting body.

Entrance Examination

- GATE – Petroleum Engineering (PE): Valid GATE score with a minimum qualifying percentile (usually 40th percentile for General category).
- CSIR-UGC NET / UGC SET: Minimum qualifying score as prescribed by the governing bodies.
- DIT University Ph.D. Entrance Test: Conducted for candidates without a valid GATE/NET score. The test comprises:
