A Ph.D. in Applied Geography typically takes 4-6 years to complete and provides advanced training in the application of geographic principles, tools, and techniques to real-world problems. Geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, spatial analysis, urban and regional planning, environmental management, and policy development are some of the subjects covered in the program.
